The support hub for changeworkers, social entrepreneurs, and aspiring systems change leaders ready to make change work – for the world, and for themselves

Championing you to make your unique contribution

every step of the way

You care and you want to make a difference

But change is hard work. The odds are often stacked against us. And when you’re burned out by the very structures you’re trying to change, you can’t continue giving your role the time and energy it requires for much longer.

Sustaining changework over time requires focus, a strong grasp on what is yours to contribute at this time. Understanding the system you operate in also helps anticipate resistance and move strategically - whether you intend to work on systems change or not.

We work with three groups of changeworkers:

To not only receive guidance on how to make moves in their field, but to receive support for themselves as individuals so they can thrive, not simply survive.

We’ve all ‘survived’ for years, and it’s not enough anymore. What if it didn’t need to be this hard?

How Parayma supports you on the path of becoming a more fulfilled, thriving changeworker

1-1 support

  • Through our 1-1 Mentoring Programme, you receive 5 sessions of hands-on support from Nora.
  • Single 1-1 sessions are exclusive to progamme participants.

What others have said:

“Nora’s Changework Compass was a true game-changer for me. I knew it was time for something new, but I lacked direction on what to focus on. Working with Nora lifted the fog. She has a rare ability to guide with exactly the right system change tools, empowering me to think boldly, without slipping into naivety.

Now, after the program, I feel calm and confident to be working on two clear pathways. It’s the most systemic idea-incubation program I’ve ever seen.”

About Changework Compass

“For people like me who find it difficult to start with a blank slate, the Parayma template really helps to get started, as it guides you through the necessary steps in a simple way so you don’t overthink and get to action. Also, you don’t have to worry about knowing about graphic design, since the template is very easy to use and leads to a beautiful, visual representation of your system.”

About the Ecosystem Mapping Template

"I found the iceberg model incredibly helpful to go "below the surface" of why things are the way they are. It's often easy to only map observed behaviours and outcomes but the iceberg model allows us to dig deeper in identifying the unspoken rules and power dynamics that hold up the current systems. It also suggests different types of solutions or actions depending on the level of the iceberg that you want to address. I find myself going back to the iceberg model over and over again and finding new layers of complexity and opportunity in the problem area I'm working on!"

About the Iceberg Model Template

“With her Changework Compass, Nora Wilhelm takes you on a step-by-step hike into the art, science and practice of system change. Each workbook is a piece of art, and the lectures allow for motivating interactions with an amazing group of participants.

I used the compass to pick a meaningful set of potential change projects… now the decision is clear. If you need some inspired and well-structured quality time for picking your next fight to save the planet, then sign up for Changework Compass!"

Hey! I’m Nora, founder of Parayma

True, lasting paradigm shifts ask us to do the inner work, not just the outer work. After 16 years of dedication to changework, out of which the last eight were focused on systems change, I realised that there was something fundamental missing from the systems change courses out there: personalised support that meets the changeworker where they’re at, insights bridging the inner and outer world, and guidance from someone who has been there in practice, not just theory, and who doesn’t shy away from talking about the hard stuff.

Because a huge thing that isn’t sufficiently happening is preparing people for the challenges they will meet. Like I wish someone had done for me, eight years ago.

I am committed to a more just and regenerative future, and that includes changeworkers too. Parayma is my way of deepening my contribution and supporting more changeworkers and aspiring systems change leaders to work through the challenges that are unique to the wide field of systems change work.

What if changeworkers could bring their unique contribution and thrive whilst doing so?
