Inside the workshop you’ll learn:
- Some of the biggest problems with how we try to solve social and environmental challenges, and what those problems means for us and our future.
- About the Iceberg model of systems thinking and how you can use this model to undercover potential root causes – including a hands-on exercise that you’ll complete during the workshop so you leave with your own insights about your field and some work already implemented!
- How to apply systems thinking to your cause to begin sensing the power dynamics of stakeholders, the rules that govern the system, and any potential leverage points, for instance how to shift the laws or policies that are blocking change.
- About the specific systems change strategy called Social Innovation Labs, including real-life examples so you can apply the strategy to your own cause or challenge.
- Why we need to act differently, stop thinking linearly, and face the blind spots we’ve been avoiding so we can create stronger, lasting change.

I’m Nora, your workshop host
Founder of Parayma, the well change atelier, and collaboratio helvetica, and mentor for changeworkers who want to work with, and learn from, someone who understands the unique struggles of this work.
Since 2010, after I awoke to the state of the world, I’ve dedicated my life and career towards shifting paradigms for a more just, regenerative, and beautiful future for everyone. After working in the field for so long, I realised I needed to deepen and expand my contribution and I couldn’t do that by just working longer hours.
So I've started a path of learning from experts, taking courses, reading books, and putting all of that into practice in my systems change work in Switzerland. Today, 8 years later, I've started my path of mentorship, giving people like you the same tools and learnings I wish I had when I started, so you can do both the inner and outer work to become a more fulfilled and impactful changeworker.
When I’m not working, I do enjoy creating art, walks with my dog, and getting lost in a fantasy novel too but that’s a story for another day! Looking forward to connecting with you.
Because the solution to change isn’t working harder, longer, or putting the burden of change entirely on your shoulders.
We need to work towards changing the systems that perpetuate the social and economic problems we face, and this starts with more of us learning to think and act systematically.
Join this free workshop and, in just 2 hours, learn about systems thinking and how to implement it yourself, and use the interactive exercises you complete as a starting point for your next steps. Whether that’s a stronger and more systemic understanding of the challenge you’re working on addressing, new strategy ideas to move the needle, or which stakeholders to focus on reaching.
